  By far the worst experience I have ever had when it comes to purchasing auto insurance. Auto insurance is something that I typically would think about twice a year; when I pay in full for the first six months and for the second half of the year. Not so with Allstate. Their billing policies and practices go beyond common decency and border on fraudulent. I have had four instances within a 1.5 year period of mysterious charges, and the justification for those charges changes depending on whom I speak with. Despite paying in full for 6 months, contesting charges, calling and exchanging emails, I was reported to a collection agency, which only furthered my frustration. After contesting that charge, while keeping the collection agency at bay, and notifying Allstate I no longer wished to continue my policy for 2016, I received a notice for an additional charge for the "option" of having insurance. Dealing with Joseph Pacut's Allstate Branch is like pushing a boulder up a steep hill, only to watch it roll back down. But I will eventually win this battle. I only hope that this review will encourage those contemplating choosing Allstate as their insurer to take caution.
